Research Digest

Swoopr Research Digest

Investment Education, Research & Tools for Smarter Decisions.

A short, linked summary of what changed and what is new across Swoopr Investment: a rule update, a new guide, a tool worth trying, a glossary term given more room. Each item links to its full canonical page; nothing here duplicates the guide it points to.

What the Research Digest Is

The Research Digest is a curated summary, not a second copy of Swoopr's library. Each numbered edition picks a handful of items, a rule change, a new guide, a tool, a glossary term worth a closer look, writes a short original note on why it matters, and links to the real, canonical page for the rest. Reading an edition is faster than browsing the whole site for what changed; reading the linked guide is still where the depth lives.

Swoopr has not committed to a fixed publishing schedule for this digest yet. Edition 1 below is a genuine edition, built entirely from real, already-published Swoopr content, and it sets the template future editions will follow once they publish. There is no invented news and no fabricated "this week in markets" commentary here or in any future edition.

Every Edition Draws From These Recurring Topics

Research Method Spotlight

Every Formula the Research Workbench Uses, in One Place

CAGR, margins, net debt, ROIC, dilution, DCF: the Workbench runs all of it, but the formulas and worked examples live on their own methodology page so you can check the math instead of trusting a black box.

Portfolio Concept

What the Sharpe Ratio Actually Rewards

Glossary Deep Dive

Cost Basis Is Not Just What You Paid
