Stock Investing Learning Path
This learning path contains twenty structured exercises and guides that take a stock investor from opening a first position to building a full investment thesis. Each page is a standalone exercise: a scorecard to complete, a checklist to run, a simulation to do, or a framework to apply to a real company. Reading is how you learn what the concepts are; doing these is how you learn whether you can actually use them.
Direct Answer
The Swoopr stock investing learning path is a sequence of twenty hands-on exercises covering stock mechanics, research process, and thesis construction. Each exercise is structured so you apply the concept to a real stock rather than work through an abstracted example. They are designed to be done in order, because later exercises assume the mechanics from earlier ones.
Common questions
How are the exercises ordered?
The path starts with account structure and order mechanics, then moves through financial statement reading, business quality assessment, position sizing, and scenario analysis, ending with a full investment memo. Each step builds on the last: the business quality scorecard from step 9 feeds directly into the thesis you build in step 20.
Do I need a brokerage account to use these?
Most exercises work with any publicly traded US stock and can be done on paper without placing a live trade. The order practice exercise uses the Swoopr order simulator so you can practice a market and limit order before risking real money.
