Investing for a 90-Year-Old

Life expectancy from age 90 averages 4-5 years, but roughly one in four people who reach 90 survive to 100. A financial plan that assumes death is near fails those who live longer. Plan for a 10-year horizon at minimum. RMDs are now very large relative to account balances. The priority is income adequacy, care liquidity, fraud defense, and estate continuity.
