Investing at Age 70

At age 70, Social Security delayed retirement credits stop growing. There is no benefit to waiting past 70 to claim Social Security. If you have not yet claimed, do so now. The delayed credit increase is 8% per year from full retirement age to age 70, but stops accruing at 70 regardless of whether you have claimed. Review your RMD obligations and confirm your applicable starting age based on birth year.
