Data, Rankings & AI Methodology Disclosure
Effective date: July 25, 2026
Swoopr Trade surfaces and ranks market information. This page explains, in plain English, where that data comes from, generally how rankings and scores are built, and what their outputs do and don't represent.
1. Where the Data Comes From
- Price and market data comes from third-party providers (including exchange and market-data APIs), not from Swoopr Trade itself.
- Data may be real-time, delayed, end-of-day, or estimated depending on the source, the asset, and the market session — we do not represent every figure as real-time.
- Where shown, a timestamp reflects when that data point was retrieved or last updated, not necessarily the exact moment of the underlying market event.
- Third-party data may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, later corrected, or temporarily unavailable. Swoopr Trade does not guarantee its accuracy or completeness and is not responsible for decisions made based on it.
2. How Rankings and Scores Work
Tools like the market-mover, IPO, earnings, and breakout screens rank or score assets by comparing them against a defined, disclosed set of criteria — for example, price momentum, relative volume, valuation figures, or event proximity. In general:
- Rankings represent a mechanical comparison under that methodology, not a recommendation. They do not consider your personal financial situation — see our Financial Disclaimer.
- Each tool includes and excludes specific factors; two tools (or two different methodologies) can reasonably rank the same assets differently.
- "Should I Invest," "Risk," and similar scores shown alongside a ranking are model outputs on a fixed scale, not statements of fact and not a statistical probability of making money.
- Models can break down during unusual volatility, market-regime changes, or when historical correlations and patterns stop holding.
- Swoopr Trade may modify these models and scoring methodologies at any time, including in ways that change how the same asset ranks between runs.
3. AI-Generated Content
- Some content on Swoopr Trade — including screen summaries and explanations — is generated by a third-party AI model based on a defined prompt and available data.
- AI-generated explanations can contain errors, unsupported conclusions, hallucinated details, or outdated information. They are not fact-checked line by line before display.
- You must verify any important information against primary sources before relying on it.
- Displayed "confidence" in an AI-generated output reflects the model's own self-reported confidence, not certainty, and not a guarantee of any outcome.
4. Simulated and Historical Results
Any simulated, backtested, or historical figures shown on the Service do not reproduce actual order fills, real-time liquidity, real bid/ask spreads, or real market impact. Actual trading results will differ from simulated ones. See our Investment & Trading Risk Disclosure for more on backtest and model limitations.
