Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Swoopr Trade collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. Swoopr Trade is a small, invite-only personal trading dashboard — we collect the minimum needed to run your account and nothing more.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and basic profile details from Google's authentication service.
- Connected platform credentials. If you choose to connect a third-party trading platform, the credentials you enter are encrypted before they're stored and are used only to fetch your own account data on your behalf.
- Trade and portfolio data. Manual trades you log, and data pulled from a connected trading platform, so the dashboard can display your positions and history.
- Usage and activity logs. Sign-in events, access grants or denials, and general application activity, used for security and troubleshooting.
- Session data. A session identifier stored as a cookie so you stay signed in; we store only a hashed version of it, never the raw token.
We do not collect payment card numbers, bank account numbers, or government ID numbers, and the free live ticker at /ticker can be used without providing any personal information at all.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information above to operate your account, display your portfolio and market data, secure the Service against unauthorized access, and troubleshoot problems. We do not use your information to serve third-party advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.
3. Cookies and Similar Technology
Swoopr Trade uses a single first-party session cookie required for sign-in, plus a local, on-device preference for light/dark theme. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
4. Sharing of Information
We share information only where necessary to run the Service:
- With Google, to authenticate your sign-in.
- With market-data and AI providers, to fetch price data and generate market summaries — these requests do not include your account credentials.
- With our hosting provider, which stores application data on our behalf under its own security commitments.
- With a connected trading platform, solely to retrieve your own account data using the credentials you provided.
We do not share your information with data brokers or for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. Data Security
Trading-platform credentials are encrypted at rest. Session identifiers are stored as one-way hashes, never in plain text. Access to administrative functions — viewing sign-in history, granting or blocking accounts, or deleting a user's data — is restricted to the account owner.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your account data for as long as your access remains active. You (or, for the owner account, an administrator) can request deletion of your stored data at any time; deletion removes your saved credentials, settings, and trade history from our systems.
7. Your Choices
You can revoke Swoopr Trade's access to your Google account at any time from your Google account settings. You can sign out of Swoopr Trade at any time, which ends your session. You can request that your data be deleted as described above.
8. Children's Privacy
Swoopr Trade is not directed to, and is not knowingly used by, anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. International Users
Swoopr Trade is operated from and hosted in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be processed in the United States.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date on this page.
