## Direct Answer

The Research Notes Library is a growing collection of time-stamped, worked research case studies on real public companies, ETFs, and REITs, each built from primary filings using Swoopr's own research process. Notes teach how to read a filing, compare peers, or build a valuation scenario; they never recommend buying, selling, or holding anything.

 Stock
 Research Brief
Carvana Co. (CVNA) · Automotive Retail & E-Commerce

 REIT
 Research Brief
Realty Income Corporation (O) · Net Lease Real Estate

The Coca-Cola Company (KO) · Consumer Staples

## How These Notes Work

Every note follows the same 14-part structure: what it teaches, a company or fund snapshot, primary sources reviewed, revenue and segment drivers, a financial trend table, cash flow and balance-sheet observations, share count and capital allocation history, peer context, valuation scenarios with visible assumptions, risks and contrary evidence, open questions, what new information would change the analysis, a dated source list, and a change log.

A note that starts as a **Research Brief** is a content outline and source checklist published before the primary-source data pull, not after: Swoopr does not publish a number that has not been pulled from a named filing. Once a brief is completed with real figures, it becomes a published note carrying its own data-as-of date, and gets a freshness check roughly every six months. A note replaced by a newer version is marked **Superseded** rather than silently rewritten, so the historical record stays intact.

The research process behind every note is documented in full on the [Research Methodology page](https://www.getswoopr.com/research/methodology/), and readers can apply the same eight-step process to their own research using the [Research Workbench](https://www.getswoopr.com/research/workbench/).

## Frequently Asked Questions

### What is a Swoopr research note?

A research note is a time-stamped, worked example of Swoopr's research process applied to one real company, ETF, or REIT: a filing walkthrough, peer comparison, valuation scenario, or similar case study. Every note discloses its sources and assumptions and never states a recommendation, price target, or score.

### Why are some notes labeled “Research Brief” instead of finished?

A Research Brief is a content outline and primary-source checklist published before the data pull, not after. Swoopr does not publish a financial figure that has not been pulled from a named primary source, so a brief states what the finished note will investigate and exactly which filings will support it, with every number left blank until that pull is complete.

### Are Swoopr research notes stock recommendations?

No. A research note documents a research process on one company or fund; it never states a buy, sell, or hold recommendation, a price target presented as certain, or a score that implies predicted returns. It is educational content, not personalized investment advice.

### How often are research notes reviewed for freshness?

Every note displays its original publication date, data-as-of date, and last-reviewed date. A completed note not reviewed within roughly six months is marked “Needs Review”, and a note replaced by a newer version is marked “Superseded” rather than being silently rewritten, so the historical record stays intact.

**Educational disclosure:** Research notes are educational case studies, not investment advice, a recommendation, an offer, or a solicitation to buy or sell any security. A note documents a research process on one company or fund; it never states a price target as certain or implies that any score or observation predicts future returns. Stock and fund investing involves risk, including the possible loss of principal.
