Sourced profiles for tax-advantaged health savings accounts. The Health Savings Account is the primary vehicle in this category, offering a unique triple tax advantage available to individuals enrolled in a qualifying high-deductible health plan. 2026 limits are from IRS Rev. Starting in 2026, bronze and catastrophic plans available as individual coverage through an Exchange are treated as HDHPs even if they do not meet the usual deductible and out-of-pocket requirements, and people in direct primary care arrangements with combined monthly fees of no more than $150 (or $300 for more than one person) remain HSA-eligible. These changes were enacted in the One, Big, Beautiful Bill Act.
